Roadrunner Cash® Jackpot Reaches Record $725,000

ALBUQUERQUE – The jackpot in tonight’s Roadrunner Cash® drawing is a record $725,000.

New Mexico Lottery players have until 9:30 p.m. MT to buy tickets for tonight’s drawing.

How to Play

Roadrunner Cash is played only in New Mexico. Players choose five numbers between 1 and 37 or they can ask for a “quick pick” set of numbers chosen randomly by the lottery’s gaming system.

The odds of matching all five winning numbers to land the jackpot are 1 in approximately 436,000.

In addition to the jackpot, there are prizes of $200, $5 and $1. The overall odds of winning a Roadrunner Cash prize are 1 in approximately 8.

Tickets are $1 per play. Drawings are held Mondays through Saturdays.

Record Jackpots

In Roadrunner Cash, the starting jackpot is $25,000.

The previous record prize of $687,000 was won in November 2006 by a three-person pool. The winners were Clint Marksberry of Edgewood and Albuquerque residents Rick Lajeunesse and F. Long.

In May 2012, Tyrone resident David Tulloch won a $515,000 jackpot.

Paul Mathews of San Jose won a $502,000 jackpot in May 2010.
