Mega Millions® Jackpot Climbs to $843 Million

ALBUQUERQUE – The Mega Millions® jackpot for Friday, November 7, 2025, is an estimated $843 million. This is the 8th-highest Mega Millions jackpot in the game’s history.

As the jackpot nears the billion-dollar mark and player excitement increases, the New Mexico Lottery cautions players to play responsibly. New Mexico Lottery CEO David Barden says, “It only takes one ticket for a chance to win.”

How to Play Mega Millions

Players are all hoping to win the jackpot, but the game also offers non-jackpot prizes. Each Mega Millions play includes a random multiplier that multiplies non-jackpot prizes. This means every non-jackpot win will multiply its base prize by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X or 10X automatically. To date, six New Mexico Lottery Mega Millions players have matched five white balls, but not the Mega Ball, resulting in prizes ranging from $1 million up to $4 million.

Mega Millions tickets are $5 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Drawings are held at 9:00 PM Mountain Time on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Legislative Lottery Scholarships

Since 1996, the New Mexico Lottery has raised more than $1.09 billion for education, and more than 155,000 students have attended college on Legislative Lottery Scholarships.
