Mega Millions® Springs into Top 10 Highest Jackpots in US History

ALBUQUERQUE – The Mega Millions® jackpot for the first day of Spring on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, is an estimated $875 million. This is the 6th highest Mega Millions jackpot in the game’s history and the 10th largest jackpot in US History.

And tonight’s March 18, 2024, Powerball® jackpot is an estimated $645 million. If the Powerball jackpot is hit in New Mexico, it will be the sixth time the Powerball jackpot has been won in New Mexico. It would also be the largest jackpot won in New Mexico.

Players should keep in mind that Lottery games are games of chance.

New Mexico Lottery CEO David Barden shared, “It’s exciting to see these jackpots grow to levels that generate player excitement and help raise funds for New Mexico students through ticket sales. However, please only play what you can afford. It only takes one ticket for a chance to win.”
