ALBUQUERQUE – The estimated Powerball® jackpot for tonight’s Wednesday, January 5, 2022 draw has been raised to $630 million.
Game leaders cite fast-growing sales across the country as the reason for the increase. If won, this will be the 7th largest jackpot in the Powerball game’s 29-year history.
Notably, Powerball is not the only game with a sizable jackpot. The estimated Mega Millions jackpot for Friday, January 7, 2022 is $278 million. And tonight’s estimated Lotto America jackpot is a sizable $5.48 million. Even New Mexico’s game, Roadrunner Cash, is big with a $327,000 estimated jackpot for tonight’s January 5, 2022 draw.
New Mexico Lottery CEO, David Barden, reminds players, “It’s very exciting to see so many big jackpots, but please remember to play responsibly.”
New Mexico Lottery players have until 8:00 p.m. MT tonight, January 5, 2022 to buy tickets for the next Powerball drawing.
