08/08/2017

ALBUQUERQUE – The Mega Millions® Jackpot has been raised to $350 Million for tonight’s drawing. This is the seventh-largest Mega Millions jackpot in the game’s history. And, in case you haven’t noticed, it’s just ahead of another goliath jackpot: Powerball® is at $307 million.

If the $350 million prize lands in New Mexico, it will beat the state’s previous record jackpot of $206.9 million shared by nine Powerball players from the Roswell area in September 2008.

New Mexico Lottery players have until 8:45 p.m. MT to buy tickets for the 9:00 p.m. drawing. Tickets are $1 per wager.

The odds of winning a Mega Millions jackpot are approximately 1 in 259 million. The odds of winning any Mega Millions prize are approximately 1 in 15.

The record Mega Millions jackpot of $656 million was shared by players from Illinois, Kansas and Maryland. In December 2013, players from California and Georgia landed a $648 million Mega Millions jackpot.
