$20 Game Offers $5 Million in Prizes
ALBUQUERQUE – On Super Tuesday, the New Mexico Lottery’s latest Scratchers™ include a $20 game packed with $5 million in prizes.
In addition to top prizes of $250,000, the “Emerald 7s & Ruby 7s” Scratcher features $3.5 million in prizes ranging between $50 and $500. The game’s odds of winning are 1 in 3.52.
Karla Wilkinson, New Mexico Lottery product director, said the $20 game is designed to create lots of winning experiences that can be paid in the very stores where players bought their tickets.
“Winning is always exciting for our players, but it’s even more exciting when they can collect their prizes right away,” she said.
New Mexico Lottery prizes between $1 and $600 can be claimed in stores, depending on cash on hand. Larger prizes must be claimed through lottery
Three other Scratchers are new in stores today:
- $1 “Sky High 7s” features $777 top prizes;
- $2 “Diamonds and Dollars” features $5,000 top prizes;
- $5 “Silver Mine 9X” features $50,000 top prizes.
The four games offer a combined payout of $8 million.

Since its inception in 1996, the lottery has raised $616.5 million for education in New Mexico. More than 90,000 students have attended college on Legislative Lottery Scholarships, of which 43,400 students have already earned their college degrees.
