The New Mexico Lottery Board of Directors today voted to terminate the contract of Chief Executive Officer Tom Romero, effective immediately.
The board wishes to thank Mr. Romero for his many years of devoted service to the lottery. We look forward to the continued success of the Legislative Lottery Scholarship program for the students of New Mexico.
Legislative Lottery Scholarships
The sale of New Mexico Lottery games funds a college tuition assistance program. Since 1996, the New Mexico Lottery has raised $583 million for public education and more than 82,600 students have attended college on Legislative Lottery Scholarships.
