“It said ‘Winner. Claim at lottery,’” he recalled for lottery officials in Albuquerque. “I couldn’t believe it. You always dream about winning, but you never think you’re going to win.”

The odds of winning a Roadrunner Cash jackpot are 1 in 435,897.

After paying bills, Wilson plans to buy a washer and dryer for a close friend and throw a birthday bash for his twin daughters who turn 18 next month.

Wilson purchased his ticket at Circle K No. 6304 located at 9200 Eagle Ranch Road in Albuquerque. Previously, the store has sold five other large prize-winning lottery tickets paying between $2,000 and $25,000.

Also from Rio Rancho today, Tracy Frank claimed a $10,000 Scratcher prize. Frank purchased her winning ticket at Bernalillo Chevron located at 223 W. Highway 550 in Bernalillo.
