What's a Power Play?
It's a chance to multiply your Powerball
prize, except for the jackpot, by two to five times. Just ask for a Power Play or
mark the Power Play box on your play slip. Right before the Powerball numbers are
drawn, a Power Play number is randomly selected from a set of 16 numbers marked
"2" through "5," guaranteeing that your prize-winning match (not including the jackpot)
is at least doubled! The "Match 5" prize with the Power Play option now has a set
5X multiplier, pushing the second prize with the Power Play option to $1 million.
This $1 million prize will be paid in cash, in one lump sum.**
