WEB DEVELOPER

The New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA) has a full-time position available in our dynamic Management Information Systems Division developing and supporting Internet and Intranet browser-based applications. Applicant should be proficient in the following areas: developing n-tier web/Windows applications using ASP.NET; solid understanding of object-oriented design; SQL 2008, including SSIS packages; Visual Studio 2010; proven knowledge of .NET Framework (C#, VB, ASP.NET, ADO.NET); mobile development, WCF services and Crystal Reports. Applicant should also have proven experience using SQL Server and T-SQL with the ability to write stored procedures, user-defined functions, and SQL queries as well as provide support documentation for the WEB. Ability to transfer knowledge of new technology to other IT team members and lead in the application of technology to enable lottery strategies.The following areas are a plus: technical knowledge in SQL Reporting Services, Windows XP/7; Silverlight, Windows 2003/2008 Server; experience developing .Net based tablet applications; Microsoft certification in one or more of the following areas, MCITP, MCAD, MCSD, or MCDBA, as well as a background in GUI with experience in a variety of tools and environments such as JavaScript/HTML/CSS, WPF, Flash and other related UI technologies. Ability to evaluate new hardware and software technologies and make recommendations to management regarding costs, benefits, and potential impacts. Designing of hardware and software configurations which are cost effective and capable of meeting current and future needs. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Business Computer Systems is preferred; however, a combination of education and past relevant work may be substituted in lieu of the educational requirements. OUTSIDE LOTTERY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The New Mexico Lottery Authority is seeking to fill a full-time position as Outside Lottery Sales Representative servicing the Albuquerque Metro Area. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be a self-starter and have a high level of creativity and motivation to maximize sales. Duties include but are not limited to; sales and service of retail accounts, inventory management, recruiting, retailer training, merchandising of product, implementation of retail promotions, and participation in special events. Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have experience in a selling and service environment, possess and maintain a valid New Mexico driver’s license and be insurable for standard vehicle insurance with a good driving record, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. In compliance with New Mexico state laws, applicants for this position must be at least 21 years of age. Daily travel and periodic over night travel outside of sales territory may be required.
