The New Mexico Lottery is accepting applications for a full time Deputy Director of Administration position. This position will have both internal and external facing responsibilities. This position includes but is not limited to; assisting with the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and directing all of the activities associated with the Administration Division of the Lottery. This includes general ledger; cash and investment management; accounts receivable and debt collection; capital asset accounting; accounts payable; game accounting; payroll preparation and reconciliation; financial reporting and disclosure; procurement and materials management; retailer accounting; claim center management, and warehouse, fleet, and facilities management. This position assists in planning, directing, and consolidating the budget for all Divisions and Departments and budgetary compliance and control for the Lottery. Assists in compliance with all the requirements of the NMLA Act, including monthly revenue transfers, financial and budgetary reporting to the applicable state bodies, and debt setoff withholding for the Human Services Department. Assists in planning and directing financial audits. Position is responsible for supervising all employees reporting to the Deputy Director and for all applicable annual evaluations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and New Mexico Certification in Public Accounting is required; incumbent must possess at least five to ten years’ prior working experience wherein ability to perform the position’s functions has been adequately demonstrated; incumbent must possess at least five to ten years’ prior working experience wherein ability to perform the position’s functions has been adequately demonstrated; including five years of experience in the direct preparation of financial statements, notes to financial statements and the management discussion and analysis for a financial audit report and in the direct preparation of a company’s annual budget. The New Mexico Lottery is accepting resumes for the full-time position of Graphic Designer. Job duties include, but are not limited to, creating and producing graphics in various formats such as publications, instant tickets, signage, digital ads and point-of-sale materials. Applicants must possess well-developed knowledge of commercial graphics illustration and design and be able to operate large format printer. Post-high school coursework in graphic illustration and design and a proficient knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign on the Microsoft Windows platform is required. Experience with Adobe Flash and Premiere is desirable. Refer to job description for full requirements.
