CLAIMS REPRESENTATIVE

The starting rate of pay is $11.16 per hour. ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER

The New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA) has a full-time position available in our dynamic Information Technology Division. Duties include but are not limited to: assist and perform (conduct) in evaluating, coding, testing, installing, and debugging computer programs and systems/applications software. To enhance the existing programming and analysis methodologies skill set by performing analysis and evaluation of user information technology needs and by performing related work. A Working knowledge of one or more commonly used programming or 4th generation languages, including the testing and debugging of computer programs and systems preferred. Knowledge of basic system hardware and system design including information system procedures and concepts. Possession of an Associate’s degree in data processing technologies, computer programmer technologies, computer/information sciences, or equivalent from an accredited college or university preferred or must possess sufficient prior applicable work experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the position’s essential functions have been amply demonstrated Must be able to work in a high security environment, be able to pass an extensive background check. SECURITY OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN

The New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA) is seeking to fill a position as a full-time Security Operations Technician. Job duties include, but are not limited to; shipment of lottery tickets, conducting on line drawings, general warehouse duties and facility and fleet maintenance. Knowledge of and able to operate machinery e.g. shredders, pallet jacks, forklift etc., is preferred, and must be able to lift items weighing 70 lbs. Working conditions include standing, walking, kneeling, handling, stooping, lifting, pushing and pulling of heavy objects and occasional climbing. Must provide great attention to detail in a very challenging work environment. Basic computer knowledge is required including Window based programs. Working hours may vary. Applicants must have High School Diploma or equivalent and must be able to pass an extensive background investigation and have a valid NM driver’s license. OUTSIDE LOTTERY SALES REPRESENTATIVE

The New Mexico Lottery Authority is seeking to fill a part-time position as Outside Lottery Sales Representative servicing the Deming, Silver City, Lordsburg, Las Cruces, Socorro and Magdalena areas. Successful candidate must live in Deming or be willing to relocate at own expense. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be a self-starter and have a high level of creativity and motivation to maximize sales. Duties include but are not limited to; sales and service of retail accounts, inventory management, recruiting, retailer training, merchandising of product, implementation of retail promotions, and participation in special events. Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have experience in a selling and service environment, possess and maintain a valid New Mexico driver’s license and be insurable for standard vehicle insurance with a good driving record, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. In compliance with New Mexico state laws, applicants for this position must be at least 21 years of age. Successful candidate must live in the Deming area and provide reliable transportation. Mileage is reimbursed. Daily travel and periodic over night travel outside of sales territory may be required. CORPORATE ACCOUNTS REPRESENTATIVE

Resumes are being accepted for Corporate Accounts Representative. Duties include but are not limited to: Under the supervision of a Director or Vice President or as directed by the CEO, this position is the first line of contact for corporate account lottery retailers as it relates to their assigned accounts and other accounts that may be designated, and is responsible for managing the achievement of sales that may be established for those retailers through the implementation of marketing strategy/programs, promotional merchandising agreements and sales presentation meetings. The corporate accounts representative is responsible for creating and communicating sales figures to corporate accounts. This position also leads or assists in recruiting and training retailer accounts, chains, and independents of both new and existing accounts. This position will work special events, promotions as required and assist as a lottery sales representative as needed. A Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Marketing is preferred. Incumbent must possess three to five years prior sales and customer relations experience wherein ability to perform the position’s duties has been amply demonstrated.
