Lottery Sales Representative

The New Mexico Lottery Authority is seeking to fill a full-time position as Lottery Sales Representative servicing the Socorro, Belen, Alamogordo, and Silver City areas. Successful candidate must live in Socorro or be willing to relocate at own expense. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be a self-starter and have a high level of creativity and motivation to maximize sales. Duties include but are not limited to; sales and service of retail accounts, inventory management, recruiting, retailer training, merchandising of product, implementation of retail promotions, and participation in special events. Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in a selling and service environment preferred but not required, possess and maintain a valid New Mexico driver’s license and be insurable for standard vehicle insurance with a good driving record, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. In compliance with New Mexico state laws, applicants for this position must be at least 21 years of age. Successful candidate must live in the Socorro area. Desktop Support Technician

The New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA) has a full-time position available; duties include but are not limited to: providing technical assistance to computer users, answer questions or resolve computer problems in person, via telephone or electronically. This position will require an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues. Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, telephony, electronic mail, and operating systems. Associate degree in IT strongly preferred, however, a combination of education and three to five years past relevant work experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and accountabilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable. Microsoft Desktop Support Technician and Comp TIA A+ certifications preferred, equivalent experience may be substituted in lieu of certifications.
