Lottery Sales Representative

The New Mexico Lottery Authority is seeking to fill a full-time position as Lottery Sales Representative servicing the Socorro, Belen, Alamogordo, and Silver City areas. Successful candidate must live in Socorro or be willing to relocate at own expense. Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be a self-starter and have a high level of creativity and motivation to maximize sales. Duties include but are not limited to; sales and service of retail accounts, inventory management, recruiting, retailer training, merchandising of product, implementation of retail promotions, and participation in special events. Qualified applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in a selling and service environment preferred but not required, possess and maintain a valid New Mexico driver’s license and be insurable for standard vehicle insurance with a good driving record, and must be able to lift 50 lbs. In compliance with New Mexico state laws, applicants for this position must be at least 21 years of age. Successful candidate must live in the Socorro area. Warehouse Operations Technician

The New Mexico Lottery Authority (NMLA) is seeking to fill a position as a full-time Warehouse Operations Technician. Job duties include, but are not limited to: shipment of lottery tickets, general warehouse duties, and facility and fleet maintenance. Knowledge of and ability to operate machinery, e.g. shredders, pallet jacks, forklift etc. is preferred; must be able to lift items weighing 70 lbs. Working conditions include standing, walking, kneeling, handling, stooping, lifting, pushing and pulling of heavy objects and occasional climbing. Applicants must provide great attention to detail in a very challenging work environment. Basic computer knowledge is required, including Windows based programs. Working hours may vary. Applicants must have High School Diploma or equivalent, be able to pass an extensive background investigation, and have a valid NM driver’s license. Accountant

The New Mexico Lottery is accepting applications for a full time Supervising Senior Accountant position. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision in applying GAAP to perform statistical and data analysis; maintain general and specialized accounting systems; prepare and submit financial and operating reports; perform month-end and year-end analysis; review and reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts to produce financial statements; perform tax reporting; and supervise accounting and claims center employees. May also perform advanced accounting projects and directly assist Director of Administration in managerial oversight duties. Great Plains Dynamics experience a plus! Experience in Microsoft Office 2010 applications is essential. CPA with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent accounting degree is preferred; incumbent must possess five or more years prior work experience wherein ability to perform the position’s duties has been adequately demonstrated.
