Where to Play

Hot Lotto is a multi-state lottery game that is played in 12 states and the District of Columbia.

How Do I Choose My Numbers?
Play Your Own Lucky Numbers, Choose A Quick Pick, Or Both!
1. Each play slip has five (5) boards lettered A – E. You may play up to five different sets of numbers on one play slip at $1 for each play. You also have the option to select up to five (5) additional Quick Picks (QPs) at $1 each.

2.
For each play, choose five (5) numbers from 1 to 39 in the upper play area and choose one (1) Hot Ball number from 1 to 19 in the lower play area.

3. If you want the terminal to randomly select your numbers, mark the box next to Quick Pick. You can also pick some of your numbers (at least 1) and mark Quick Pick for the terminal to select the rest.

4. Use only blue or black ink, or pencil, to mark your play slip. If you mark a number in error, mark the “Void” box for that board and move on to the next board. DO NOT ERASE.

Multiply Your Prize With Sizzler
Only An Additional $1
For just one additional dollar (per play per draw), players can multiply their Hot Lotto prize (excluding the jackpot) three times. Players must choose the Sizzler option when buying their Hot Lotto ticket, and then the ticket must match one of the non-jackpot prizes before the multiplier takes effect.

How Do I Play More Than One Drawing? MULTI DRAW
Play Up To Ten Draws
Whether you choose to play your favorite numbers or Quick Picks, your play slip allows you to play up to ten advance draws in a row. Simply mark the appropriate box next to MULTI DRAW ($1.00 per play per draw).

When Are The Drawings?

Drawings are Held every Wednesday and Saturday Evening
See the drawing results on KOB TV 4, the official station of the New Mexico Lottery. Tickets can be purchased until 8:00 p.m. (MT) for that night’s drawing. Following the drawing, winning numbers are available at all Lottery retailers, on our player hotline at (505) 342-PLAY (7529) and by clicking here.

Cash vs. Annuity
The advertised jackpot is an estimated amount which is paid as an annuity of 25 payments over 24 years or, at the election of the winner, in a single lump sum payment of the cash value of the annuity prize (subject to State and Federal taxes). If the winner chooses the annuity, the annual payments will be in accordance with the Hot Lotto game rules. Annuity payments are guaranteed upon death to a designated beneficiary or trust.
