FAQ
Is it true that the scholarship fund is running out of money?

Since it's inception, the Lottery has generated more than $351.9 million earmarked for education. But two things have happened. First and foremost, the scholarship program has been so successful that many more people than originally expected have used it. Second, the costs of higher education have increased faster than projected, including several double-digit tuition increases at universities.  Even though the Lottery has returned hundreds of millions in revenue to the State, the demand has outpaced the growth.
