How
do you decide who gets the Lottery money?

We don’t.
Our mission is to raise the maximum amount of
money for the purposes designated in the New Mexico
Lottery Act in a responsible and businesslike manner.
The Lottery is not involved with the
determination of how the funds are allocated.
Those decisions are made by the Legislature and
Governor, and then administered by the agencies that
they designate. Currently, all funds are earmarked for education. |
